This year, yet again, we're going to try something a little different.
Last year, we had a good turnout with our flex leagues, and continued to see a good amount of people playing flex on the General even after we had a regularly scheduled Wednesday round on the Hill.
So this year we're going to do both. DiscGolf978 have generously offered to manage a weekly flex league on the General, and we'll be running a weekly random shotgun start league on the Hill every Wednesday.
For both options, we'll offer our usual divisions:
- A Pool – Average under 56
- B Pool – Average 56 to 64
- C Pool – Average 65 and higher
- D Pool – Open to all No cost, free to play
D Pool is a free way to try out league play. We will keep track of your rounds and scores but of course there are no payouts.
For A, B and C pool, the rounds are $5 for tag holders, $7 for non tag holders. Tags this year are $25, and available now at DiscGolf978 at Wednesday League, and via PayPal to devensdiscgolf@gmail.com (Friends & Family please).
Each week, in each league, the money will be distributed as follows:
- $3 Weekly Payouts
- $1 Course/Bonanza ($3 from non-tag holder entry)
- $1 Ace Pot
Everyone is welcome to play in either or both leagues each week. You can find more information about the flex league, see the Udisc page. The flex league will run Monday - Sunday, starting on Monday, 3/21. The Wednesday Weekly league will also be using Udisc for scoring, but will be cash only, payouts immediately following the round. We are hosting a casual, pre-league round this Wednesday, 3/16. Random card selection at 3:55, tee off at 4pm. We will be there to sell tags by 3:30pm.
