2017 Bag Tag Bonanza Results

Thanks for a nice day yesterday! This is always my favorite event of the year as we celebrate another successful league season. We had a good crowd of 63 people and the weather was perfect. We'll hash out some details behind the scenes to tweek a few things but I expect a pretty similar set up next year. We'll fix the handicap pool for sure. Maybe adjust the pro pool a little. More on that stuff soon.

Put your pennies away over the winter for a 2018 season pass. I'd like to lower the price by a few bucks after looking at this years pass holder attendance =)

See everyone in mid March!

We will play one final league round of 24 holes (Bonanza Loop is 1-7 on Hill, 13,14,15 General, 10,11,12 General then 8-18 Hill in that order). The courses will be closed to all others until about 12:30pm on Saturday the 28th.

Register between 8am and 9am on Saturday morning. I’ll be set up across the street from the soccer field. Tee off time is 9:15am. Please just start at 9:15am. No horn

The cost is the usual $5 and you should sign in as usual for a league night and we will provide Pizza/Cookies/Drinks for lunch. Participants also receive a Trilogy Custom stamped disc. I have 100 of them! If I have extras at lunch I’ll sell them to 2017 tag holders for $5 per disc.

We got:

Classic Blend Judge, Classic Blend Slammer, Opto Compass, Lucid Convict, Lucid Freedom, Lucid Truth, Lucid Witness, Lucid Air Trespass, Fuzion Escape.

CTP prize of $15 Hawk Nest credit on every single Hill hole and many raffle items. In case you didn't know those who purchase tags receive a raffle entry for each league they attend.

ACES (worth additional point in standings & $$)
Pot will start with $34 at the Bonanza and we will throw off for a 2 or 3 way split of the pot if it does not get hit.

Banked nightly payouts – We will have these ready for pick up on Saturday morning. If you can’t get to the Bonanza I’ll contact you after the event to figure out a way to get the money to you. Amounts are posted here.

As of week 31 we have had 1,718 players. That's an average of 55.42 per night. We've sold 135 tags and have had 146 unique players. The following players have ended the year with perfect attendance:

Sam Misuraca (6 years in a row!)

You’ve each earned $15 credit to the Hawk’s Nest as a thank you for you unwavering dedication! They moved to a credit system so I’ll give Chris your name and you can redeem at the store.

Points leaders will be playing on a card with each other. I’ll preregister each of those players to ensure they end up on the same card. If you can’t make it please let me know:

Wednesday Weekly League - Week 30 Results

Week 30 Results. We had 42 players on a beautiful night.Only 1 week left! Don't forget that the Bag Tag Bonanza is going to be October 28th.

Here is where we stand with 1 week left plus the Bonanza.

A pool:

Casey White - 86 points
Aaron Little - 77
Alex Gula - 77
Greg Bianco - 69

Alex made another huge move this week which put him in a tie for 2nd. Both Alex and Aaron also made up some ground on Casey. There are 10 points available (plus aces) including the Bonanza so 2nd places could still catch Casey but it's unlikely. Greg could potentially catch 2nd or 3rd but it'll be tough. Important to note that Alex still has an attendance  point.

--------
B pool:

John Murin Jr - 88 points
Ryan Shevlin - 81
Brandon Carlson - 77
Sam Misuraca - 74
Ashley Toomey - 69
Kevin Cocci - 68

The top 6 only tightened up a little. Ryan could still catch 1st. Brandon could catch 2nd. Sam, Toomey & Kevin could potentially catch 3rd. There are 10 points still available (plus aces) including the Bonanza.

---------
C pool:

Bill Pacheco - 69 points
Roger Sruton - 68
Paul Sales - 63
Sean Parlon -  54

Top 3 all tied last night so no big movement aside from making it very difficult on Sean to catch 3rd.  There are 10 points still available (plus aces) including the Bonanza.

---------
D Pool:
Ashlee Foley - 56 points
Matt Bourgault - 56
Kim Krieser - 55
Matt Steinberg - 50

Ashlee and Matt B did not attend and Kim gained an attendance point. Very close top 3. Matt S. kept himself in contention with a win last night. There are 10 points still available (plus aces) including the Bonanza.
